Finally, I have the before and after pictures of my travel trailer. We loved being able to partner with the Home Depot for this project. We put a lot of energy and time into this trailer and I totally love the outcome. I am so glad it turned out the way I wanted it too! We are excited that we are going camping in it this weekend and it just makes me so happy. My kids can hardly wait. I am happy our hard work has paid off and will pay off this weekend.
I mean it really did turn out so good. The travel trailer was not in really bad shape it just needed a bit of a facelift and lots of help. Here are some of the before pictures. Yes, they are bad.
I can’t wait to show you these. These are the after pictures and I am in love. It has made such a change in the way the travel trailer looks by giving it some TLC. Here are some of the after pictures…
Paint
Details about the paint inside the trailer you can find HERE
Penny Tile
You can find the tile that we used at Home Depot HERE! We installed it ourselves
Wallpaper
I love this wallpaper and I think its perfect for a camper. The reason why I wallpapered the trailer is because it already had old wallpaper and this way I could just wallpaper right over the old wallpaper.
Curtains
I had them custom made. I wanted them to have a fun pattern and they roll up like a roman shade.
Bathroom vanity
I spray painted the bathroom vanity with spray paint from the Home Depot. I can’t remember the color but it was like a robin eggs blue.
Sofa
I had a professional upholstery company recover my sofa.
I am excited to share all the details of where everything is from and how we did this transformation. I plan on posting the trailer travel redo into a few more detailed post in the next few weeks. But now it’s time for me to get things really to go camping in this awesome trailer.
I really hoped you enjoyed. It will be so much fun making family memories in this trailer! Thank you for reading about our travel trailer redo! I would love to know what you think.

i’ve been saying for years, they could sell a whole lot more camp trailers if they would up it a notch from the fake oak and hideous upholstery 😉
happy camping!

March 21, 2016 at 12:22 pmWow, this is a such a fun transformation! I love how much brighter is is and all of the gold accents, especially the lighting! We are in the midst of renovating our RV and although it’s slowly creeping along this makes me even more excited for the moment we get to finally hit the road and enjoy it 🙂

March 29, 2016 at 11:48 amI really like the deer wallpaper you put up, it looks better than that floral pattern. With a camping trailer, I always liked adding camping themed things like that wallpaper. It’s something you wouldn’t really have in the average house, but is perfectly fine here.

June 14, 2016 at 4:32 amHi Mallory and Savannah,
Very nice of you for sharing it with us.
Travel trailer redo is one of the most important things to buy for a travel lover. It is more important when you didn’t know about the place you are willing to go.
The benefits that one gets on taking this, you won’t have to look for a hotel. You can stay on one of your favorite spots with all the things necessary for your daily schedule.
Thanks for the beautiful post.
Have a nice day.

June 28, 2016 at 12:21 pmwe basically have the same fifth wheel. The lay out is a little different. How did you cover the floral glass on the doors for the storage. Also the Deer wallpaper..How was that applied? We live in AZ too and worry about temporary wallpaper peeling off in the heat..any suggestions?

July 31, 2016 at 11:23 amHow much in total would you say it cost to paint the outside?
Mallory & Savannah
August 7, 2016 at 5:31 pmHi! It was probably around $500 in materials. It all depends on the size of your trailer, colors and coverage. Hope that helps!

July 8, 2018 at 11:08 pmI love, love, LOVE what you did with this trailer. Hubby just bought an older trailer today and I will be attempting to work some magic on the inside and outside as well. Do you have a list of the materials you used anywhere? It would save me a lot of time and research! Again, it looks fantastic!

February 10, 2019 at 3:18 pmMy 18 year old daughter just bought a 30 ft Fleetwood and we’re getting ready to do a full renovation on it. I can’t wait to finish it. She’s going to live in it for a few years to save up for a home. We’re actually going with your similar color scheme, navy blue, orangish red, coral, and turquoise. I think we’ll do a lot of the cabinets grey and are even installing quartz countertops. May go with your exact outside scheme, I just love everything in yours!!!

July 1, 2019 at 3:33 pmHi there! I absolutely LOVE this trailer transformation! I found your site because we are looking to redo ours as well. That being said, I have a few questions. First, did you replace the toilet with a more modern version? Are the cabinets new? Or did you reface them? Did you spray paint the appliances, ceiling lights, exhaust fan, etc., or did you order new? How long did the project take you? What was your budget? Sorry for all the questions!! : D

July 28, 2019 at 11:33 pmThere are a lot of interesting subjects for producing a great 500-word essay. Nevertheless, you should choose a narrow topic for your work. Thus, you will not have any difficulties with reaching the required word count. The most efficient way to produce a superior paper is to cover the topic completely and meet the imposed requirements.
