Arizona in the Spring is my favorite place to be! About three years ago, we renovated our backyard so we would have a space to enjoy the beautiful weather and enjoy time as a family outside! This Spring patio refresh was just what we needed and you can do it too!

As we gear up for a new season, I am so excited to share my Spring patio refresh and my tips for making your outdoor space feel like an oasis! I found everything I was looking for (and more!) from At Home.

Make an Impact With Height
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I love decor that makes a BIG impact. Something with a bold color or tall height to give a “wow” effect. On my patio, I chose these amazing steel pergolas to give us some added shade.
I took it one step further and added sheer white outdoor drapes (these are the (Sun Zero Outdoor curtains) which I thought added another level of outdoor luxury.
If pergolas aren’t the best fit for your space, you could add height with outdoor umbrellas or a large plant – both available at At Home!
Mix Solids and Patterns
Next, I added some variation and interest with these striped outdoor pillows layered on top of these cream outdoor cushions called the Tristin Heathered White Outdoor Premium Chase Lounge Universal Cushion. I also got the Tristin Heathered White Outdoor Premium Hinged Chair Cushion as well! There were so many combinations to choose from, but I love black and white stripes. This grey, black and white color combination is a staple throughout my house!
Another way to add a pattern could be with an outdoor rug. Maybe I will add that to my backyard at some point as well!
Incorporate Something Green
In every space I design, I always add some type of greenery or floral. While I was at At Home, I found this stunning faux pink cherry tree that adds the perfect amount of color! Because Phoenix gets so hot during the summer, a faux plant is a better fit in this case.
