Modern Ranch Reno: Laundry Room – Part 2 Appliances

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot but words and opinions are mine.

When an appliance breaks it can be really stressful. It always seems to happen at the worse time. That is what happened when our washing machine broke. It was the middle of summer our kids were using a million towels because they were in and out of the pool so much and we had just returned from a family trip and we were leaving for a ten day camping trip. The timing was not the best. We had planned on doing a full laundry room renovation and when the washer went out we decided that now was a perfect time to start this big project. Before we even started the renovations my number one priority was getting a new washer and dryer. The center of any laundry room is a washer and dryer and getting the right appliance is always such a big decision.

When we decided to redo our laundry room we decided that we were going to do two sets of washers and dryers. Plumbing had to be redone and my husband added in a second washer box, dry vent, new outlet and a new 30 amp circuit for the second set. There was so much work for us to get to this point and I will go into all those details in a later post but for now I just want to tell you how we choose the washer and dryers that we did.

The install day was the best day ever!!! I wrote all about the appliances I ended up choosing, the process and how the good people at Home Depot helped me make the decision that I did. You can also see one of the before picture which is not a pretty picture at all.  You can see the whole post HERE.

I can’t wait to share all the details of this space and how we did this laundry room. Part 3 of this laundry room makeover will be all about this amazing flooring. If you missed Part 1 of the Laundry Room which is Demo you can find that post HERE.
