Hi friends! I am so excited to reveal my office space with you today! FINALLY! I have rearranged it approximately 1.2 million times trying to find the perfect layout! This space is my 3rd car garage converted into a fully functioning home office. We removed the garage door motor and track, bolted the garage door shut then we insulated it, put down flooring and installed new lighting. I mainly run my vinyl decal business out of this space and do blog work from my in-home office.
Here’s what it looked like before.
After we put up the wall…
Then I installed these Quick Step Floors that I LOVE! I love the white wash look and they’re my fave!
Next, I installed these floor to ceiling cabinets for storage. These things hold a TON of stuff!!! I keep all my vinyl, my machines, shipping materials and inventory in them. They are insanely helpful and I love the look of them. They’re from the PAX collection at Ikea. The lights are the Kirch 4-light foyer pendants from Wayfair!
The show stopper of the space is obviously this gorgeous wall mural from Bari J. Designs, a local artist! We had it printed through Murals your Way and they did an fantastic job! I feel truly honored to have her amazing work in my home and I will treasure it for years to come!
I built the island using cabinets from Home Depot and created the countertop from a sheet of melamine (also from Home Depot) and using this marble contact paper from Amazon. This stuff is amazing!!! It is so thick and looks exactly like Carrara Marble! It’s perfect for a crafting space!
The blue velvet sofa is from DownEast Home and tables are from At Home.
I spend quite a bit of time in this space and I’m so thrilled with how it turned out. The mural is just everything! I plan to extend the island, add beams and some can lights to the space eventually but considering my house is one big giant project, I think this is pretty great for now! I still can’t believe it’s a garage! Thanks for stopping by!
