Dining Room Makeover
This table was really my first BIG project to take from a before to an after! I found this table about 3 years ago and I had so many plans with it. My first plan was to use it as my craft table and paint it hot pink. Plans changed when I realized it would be a ton of work. About a year ago I knew we would be moving and I did not know what I would do with the table. Two babies and 2 years later, my friend Jenny and I started to work on the table. I knew I wanted it to be my new kitchen table and I wanted it to be a color that is fun and that I love. I choose Behr Lemon Pound Cake. It’s the perfect bright but soft yellow.
During my dining room redo, I looked for months for chairs. I went back and forth between having mismatched chairs or a set of matching chairs. When I found these 8 chairs on craigs list for a steal I knew this was the set for me. Mallory and I took the chairs apart and spray painted the chairs with Krylon Ivory spray paint. Then, we picked up some fabric from Walmart, of all places.. I was very surprised to find this great navy with cream polka dot fabric. Then, we added vinyl over the top. I love how get they turned out!
(Only 4 of the 8 chairs are done but I was too excited to wait until I finished the other 4 chairs!)
I hope you have enjoyed a visit to my new dining room!

Love the table colour! Your decor style is so LIVELY! I’d love to spend some time here! BTW – I am a new FOLLOWER!
I love everything you’ve done! I am just starting to re-do furniture and having a blast. We have an huge old table that has tons of nooks and crannies like yours. I hate it but I would love to re-do it. How hard is it to sand down and paint? I would love to do it but I don’t want to get in over my head.
