10 Healthy School Lunch Ideas

Healthy School Lunch Ideas

Two of my little boys are starting school this year; Preschool and Kindergarten. I wanted to find some healthy ideas to pack in their lunch boxes so I don’t have to worry about what they will pick out in the cafeteria! Here are 10 (mostly) Healthy School Lunch ideas. Mini Corn dogs might not be the most healthy but my son loves them so I threw those in too! Just make sure to cram some fruit and veggies in the lunch box too! 😉

  1. Are the kids supposed to eat the taco meat and fishsticks cold? No school I ever went to had a microwave for student use :/

  2. I love these ideas and they look so adorable and healthy. But if I put that container in my kindergartners backpack. Things get all turned upside down, spilled and mooshed.

Any suggestions on containers or other tips that would prevent the mixing when you turn a container upside down?

    Thanks,
    Amanda

    1. Invest is some good bentoware pieces. Sets like the Laptop Lunchbox are extremely durable, and you can purchase additional pieces as needed. Cute little food picks and food cutters add the cute factor that every kid appreciates 🙂

  4. So many great ideas, I hope my kids will love them. 🙂 I am definitely going to show this to them today, I wonder which one they will want. My favorite is the vegetable spring rolls. It looks great!

  5. Do kids typically eat the taco meat cold? I know my son would love tacos in his lunch but I’m not so sure about eating that cold.

I’d love to hear some feedback on that.

  6. Preparing pack lunch for kids is the best idea rather than letting them buy food at the schools or everywhere else. By preparing them their pack lunch to bring to school you are making so sure that they are getting the right nutrients that they need because you know you are giving them healthy foods. Your idea of foods make more inspired to prepare food for the kids. Thanks.
