Easy Recipes: No Bake Energy Bites
These no-bake energy bites are packed full of flavor and healthy ingredients to make for the perfect pre or post gym snack, afternoon pick me up or midnight snack. They take about 15 minutes to make and taste amazing! I make these for my family all the time and my little kids think they’re cookies! They are so addicting and you can double the recipe and freeze a batch. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1 cup of shredded coconut
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup of freshly ground flax seed
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 1/3 honey
Instructions:
Prepare a baking sheet (don’t worry! We aren’t baking!) with a sheet of wax paper. Combine all ingredients and roll into 1″ balls. Place balls on wax paper and put in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. These also freeze really well so feel free to double the batch! This recipes makes about 24 balls so I’d double it for sure. They go fast after your family tastes them! 😉
