Every year I have a Valentine’s Party. I guess you can say it pretty expected at this point. With that said I ALWAYS love to do a fun invitation. Last year, I had these heart balloons in a box but hand delivering them was SO much work. This year I wanted to be able to mail out the invitations. So, I came up with this cute gold box with a circle garland inside. I love how they turned out.I got these cute gold boxes at Michael’s.
I used the Silhouette to cut out the circles. If you don’t have the Silhouette, you can still do it. Just get a circle punch and then just make sure your words fit into the circle.
Then, I sewed the circles together. Just like I made this gold glittered garland from New Years. I love these garlands so much and I want them all over my house.
After the cute garland was made, I simply taped one ends of the string to the top of the box. That way you can easily read the garland as you pull it out of the box.
Each circle had an important piece of info on it.
*Side note* I was not 100% sure how the gold boxes would hold up in the mail so I put some of the invites into a mailing tube and printed off clear labels; one with their address and my returning address and the other had a big cute arrow that said “open this side” Since I used the arrows, I feel like people still got the effect of the cute invite.
I love this because you can do it for any type of invitation. It would be so cute for birthdays, Christmas parties, baptisms, or even high schoolers asking each other to dances! Endless possibilities!
Have a fun and safe Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart!
