Spotlight Saturday #54 LINK PARTY

Welcome to this week’s link party! I have been in an absolute whirlwind of a week! I have been busy with my new little baby, designing an Easter greeting card for our church’s stake to hand out and I also designed my Great Grandfather’s funeral program.

He passed away last Friday while I was in labor with baby Tanner. The funeral was today in Arizona but since I have a 1 week old baby and I live in New York, I couldn’t make the trip to the funeral. I was glad to at least be involved by doing the program design but I was heartbroken to miss it. He was 97 years old and I know he is where he belongs. I am so thankful to know that our family will be together forever. I love you Grandpa!

On a happier note, I am finally getting into the swing of things, adjusting to 3 kiddos and making everyone’s schedules work, etc. I apologize for the scattered posts on the blog and late link party but I will have things back to normal soon!
Also, did you see Savannah’s post this week on how to white wash brick? So many homes have the old red brick fireplaces and this is an awesome way to update it! If you missed it, check it out here.
Now, it’s party time!
