Hi friend! We’re Mallory Nikolaus and Savannah Kokalaires, the brains behind Classy Clutter!
Classy Clutter began in July 2010 when two moms were itching to share their creative projects and ideas with the world. Mallory and Savannah both grew up in Mesa, Arizona and come from big families. They have known each other since high school and their husbands are really good friends too! The Classy Clutter husbands were also friends in high school and both played on the same high school football team (Go Toros!). After both couples got married, they spent a lot of time together going on double dates with their new husbands! Fast forward 8 years later and they now have 9 kids between the two of them! Mallory has 5 boys (Carter, Parker, Tanner, Palmer and Oliver) and Savannah has three girls (Leesie, Millie and Adelaide) and a boy (Ryder).
Mallory’s family moved away to New York for her husband (Craig) to attend dental school. Thank goodness for FaceTime! Even though they lived on opposite sides of the country, any day of the week you can find them knee deep in kids toys and projects and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Classy Clutter has grown to be so much more than they ever imagined. Now, 10 years later, they’re both back in Arizona and their blog has strengthened their already awesome friendship more than words can say.
We get asked all the time, and yes, we are Mormons. We belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or (LDS). Savannah and I both grew up in a LDS families where we were taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ, eternal families, faith, individual worth, integrity, honesty, and many other personal and family values. We were both sealed to our families in the Mesa, Arizona temple and we believe, in doing so, our families will be together for eternity, long after this life. You can learn more about temples and eternal families here. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is real. It’s true. We know it. We live it. We love it! If you would like to learn more about our faith, please visit Mormon.org or if you’d like a free copy of the Book of Mormon, please comment or shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to send you one!
