Wedding Ideas- Black, White and Gold Wedding
My sister recently got married and myself and Mallory were able to help with a few things. The feel of her wedding was very romantic and elegant. Every single detail was perfection. This is my sister Haley and her husband Brady. We are so happy for them and so grateful that we were able to celebrate with them.
My sister loves gold foil and our Heidi Swapp’s Minc Machine really came in handy to add some gold touches throughout the wedding. We used the Minc for everything. We gold foiled the menus for the wedding. Using black paper and a laser printer we printed the menus and then we gold foiled the menu.
We also made napkins rings and gold foiled every single one. These were pretty time consuming. We were able to fit 6 napkins rings per page and we used laser printer paper and a laser printer and designed the napkin ring to fit the style of the wedding and then after we foiled all 400 napkin rings we used a paper-cutter and cut the paper into slips of paper and then using a glue dot we put the paper napkin ring around the napkin.
We used sticker paper to do the jam labels. It was kind of crazy. We made 600 jam labels. It was crazy! In order to make these we used this sticker paper and the Silhouette Machine to cut out the circle labels. After the labels were printed and the Silhouette machine cut out the circles we then put the sheets of labels through the Minc machine.
We also gold foiled cute quotes around the wedding. Then finally we made 350 circle labels that went on ice cream cups that my mini cookies and ice cream were served out of. We made these labels the same way that we made the jam labels.
Speaking of cookies and ice cream. My brother Hunter owns a food truck called the Hot Cookie Truck and its here in Arizona. It’s so yummy and not only does he do events he is also opened throughout the week at random spots in Arizona. Be sure that you check him out on Instagram for his schedule.
His instagram is Hot Cookie Truck or you can check him out on Facebook HERE
The Minc Machine is so easy to use and it really finished off all the details of the wedding. Here are some more pictures from the wedding. Every bit was thought about and everything went together perfectly.
This ” You are my Happy” sign is so big. I believe it ended up being 7 feet tall. My uncle Noel made the sign and trimmed it out with wood trim and then painted it gold. It has hinges and a piece of wood on the back that made an easel to hold it up. Mallory made the vinyl for the sign along with the sign “When I saw you I fell in love…” and she also did the vinyl for the “It’s never to late for breakfast” sign.
This is my niece Eliza and my little guy Ryder. I just really love them.
The flowers were so gorgeous. I am beyond obsessed with these tall gold vases. My mom ordered them and I am not sure where she ordered them from but if you want more details about them please email us.
I loved the cakes so much. My sister wanted a Kate Spade feel and the cake maker did such a great job.
Can you even handle these flowers on the cake?!?!?!? I mean they are amazing! The gold edging is just soooo great! I love the gold bow. And the stripes, its perfection!
The venue for the wedding was at Stonebridge Manor in Mesa, Az. They have a few different location for weddings at this venue and my sister choose the backyard area that has an air-conditioned white tent and it’s gorgeous. It also happens to be where I had my wedding almost 10 years ago. I love this venue and it feels so romantic and elegant.
Here is my family. Man, I sure do love them all. We have not taken a family picture in so long and I was so grateful for the chance for all of us to be together to be able to get a big group picture.
I loved the bride maids dress and the men in black suits. Very classic and timeless.
My sister also had a horse-drawn carriage that picked them up after they were married in the Gilbert, Az Latter-day Saints Temple. Everyone wanted a picture in the carriage. My cousin Zach Allen has the horse and carriage and does it for weddings and other events and its so gorgeous.
The horse and carriage is just magical. And there is nothing like a really cowboy.
If you live in Arizona and want information about the horse and carriage please email us and I can get you the details.
The wedding is was so fun and it was such a great day. I am glad everything went just as they planned.
All these pictures were taken the amazing photographer Ben Christensen he is crazy talented and we were so lucky to have him the wedding.
Gorgeous! I like the vase too.
Thank you for sharing. Beautiful, beautiful wedding. And a wonderful date, June 4th, for a wedding (it’s was our date 21 years ago.) Loved the family photos and especially the bride and groom with all the little ones around.
