Totally Inspired Tuesday by Mallory

I’ve been inspired by SO SO many different things lately! When you move into a new house with a big fat ZERO furniture and are forced to start your home furnishings and design from scratch, the possibilities are seriously endless! I have gone back and forth on color schemes and decor style for practically every room in my house! It’s really hard to decide where there is SO MUCH inspiration out there! Blogland, design sites, catalogs, magazines, and Pinterest have opened up a world of possibility for me and I simply cannot narrow down what I want for each room sometimes. It’s hard!!!

I think I’ve come up with my plan (more or less) for my bathroom! I want to show you all and see what you think. I REALLY need your input folks! Like if you are reading this, comment and tell me what you think!!

Here’s what I am starting out with. 🙂

 I’ll paint you a little picture of what I’m working with here. The landlords, of course, took their shower curtain, towels and the artwork so it was just empty green bathroom when we moved in. This is the only “before” pic I have though 🙂

My trim is a gorgeous glossy white. I really like the grey and white together. BUT I want some fun color in there! That being said, I love love love yellow but I haven’t really used it anywhere else in my house. I, like many of us, love the black, white, grey and yellow color combo! I knew this was it!

So this color scheme was perfect but I need to accessorize! Here’s the plan!

The fabric swatch is for curtains and I found the fabric on Fabric.com!

The show curtain is from Urban Outfitters but I will make my own replica! 🙂

The yellow shag rug is also from Urban Outfitters for only $29 so I’ll get that soon!
