The BEST projects of 2011

It’s 2012!!! Can you believe it!? We wanted to share some of our favorite projects from this year! 2011 was great but I think 2012 is my year! 12 is my lucky number after all! 😉
January: We started 2011 out with a bang with Savannah’s little girl’s playroom!
February: Lots of love going on with the sheet music meaningful wings! What a great Valentine’s gift this was!
Savannah also gave her laundry room a little makeover by building her own platforms for her washer and dryer and adding stripes to the walls! 
March held one of our favorite furniture makeovers of all time. 
April was busy busy for the both of us! We completely overhauled the wonderful Elizabeth Banks’ pantry as she remodelled her whole house!

Then, I gave this outdated, broken dresser the makeover of it’s life!
We gave away and taught you how to make your own Spring Banner!
and Sav’s little girl’s bathroom got a springy makeover!
In May, I taught you how to stain wood when I did this French stained and painted dresser makeover!
June was full of some delicious recipes!
In July, we tackled some different window treatments! Savannah made a high end looking valance and ruffled burlap curtains
and I tried my hand at the ruffled burlap curtains using a different ruffling technique!
(Looking at the two pictures, I should really build a valance like Savannah’s for this window! haha!)
August was jam packed! We had SO MUCH going on but here are some of our favorites!
Savannah made this vintage photo booth “SMILE” sign for her nephew’s 1st birthday party!
I shared a recipe for MAGIC Jewelry Cleaner!
I showed you how to get crisp straight lines when painting horizontal stripes!
I also taught you how to make your OWN shapes on the Silhouette software.
September was another fabulous month of projects!

Savannah showed us a detailed tutorial on how to paint a chevron wall.
My boys’ room is just about “post ready” but I’m glad I got their Anthropologie inspired Ordinal Dresser done! 
Savannah’s little girl got her antique gold glitter bed all ready for her sassy pink and gold bedroom!
We shared some great painting tips and tricks for you here.
October was one of my favorite months with my craft room and my black and zebra dresser!  My craft room just got top 10 in the CSI Project’s Best projects of 2011 challenge!

In November, I put the finishing touches on my black and yellow bedroom and worked on my living room!
I made the Capiz shell chandelier out of wax paper for under $10!
In my living room, I made the address subway art from things I had around the house! 
We rounded out December with a Christmas gift idea…
I made some DIY book ledges for $1.01! 
and our last and one of our FAVORITE projects was a project we got to do together while I visited AZ. 
WOW!!!!! What a year!
