  • Camping Food Ideas: Campfire Banana Boats

I just got back from camping with my family and we had such a great time. Before we left I was searching for different food ideas that I could do. And I came across a few really good ideas. I found a Banana Boat recipe idea and I just had to try it out. I did mine a bit different and they were soooo good and so I wanted to share the recipe with you. Here is what you will need: Foil Bananas Peanut Butter Chips Milk Chocolate Chips Mini Marshmallows What you will do is leave the banana in the peel and then cut a slit down the center of a banana. Place the banana on a piece of foil and then fill the banana with the Peanut butter chips, Chocolate chips and Marshmallows and then wrap it in foil. Place the banana wrapped in foil on top of hot coals from the fire and leave for about 5 minutes or so until everything is melted. Don’t over cook or the marshmallow with turn into liquid. It still will…

  • Kid Friendly Apple Cookies

Kid Friendly Apple Cookies Hi Friends!  It’s Katie from Made to be a Momma here again to share a delicious and kid friendly recipe!  One of my boys favorite fruits to snack on are apples.  These apple “cookies” are very similar to my Peanut Butter Apple Nachos but a bit more kid friendly.  One of my personal favorite toppings to pair with apples is Nutella and my kids love it just as much as me.   All you need to do is slice your apples and use a small cookie cutter to cut out the hard center. Spread Nutella or even peanut butter on top. I love to add coconut flakes to the Nutella covered apples and either mini chocolate chips and almonds or sprinkles to the peanut butter covered apples. I love these snacks because you can add whatever favorite toppings to the apples that you want and they are just perfect for little fingers but tasty enough for adults too 🙂    For more kid treat ideas check out these: Cat in the Hat Cookies White Chocolate Party…

  • Pumpkin Pie Truffles

A creamy, soft pumpkin pie center wrapped up in white chocolate! Hey guys, it’s Adell from Baked in Arizona! How is everyone?!  I hope you are all having a great October so far.  Fall is seriously the best. The weather, the food, the holidays! We also have a bunch of birthdays in my family we get to celebrate. Is it that way for you? I feel like October is a big month for birthdays. So about this recipe. I love truffles! I even served peanut butter truffles at my wedding reception! So, I was so excited to try these pumpkin truffles. I have to admit, I’m not a huge pumpkin pie fan. I like pumpkin cheesecake, and almost anything pumpkin but plain pumpkin pie? Not my favorite. Add some white chocolate to the mix & you have a winner in my book! I hope you all love these truffles as much as we did. The center is soft and creamy. Just like pumpkin pie.   Pumpkin Pie Truffles Ingredients: 18 golden oreo cookies (1/2 package) 2 ounces cream cheese 1/4 cup pure…

  • Marshmallow Crunch Brownies

Hey there! Adell, from Baked in Arizona! I know everyone is going crazy over pumpkin and apple and fall and all, but I just have to share this brownie recipe with you! It is a delicious treat anytime of the year! Don’t get me wrong, I love fall baking but sometimes you just can’t deny that chocolate/brownie craving, especially when you are 35 weeks pregnant 😉 At least that’s what I tell myself! haha! But pregnant or not, you are going to love these brownies! A friend of mine had these brownies at a party and was telling me about them. So of course I had to try them out! You could make a homemade brownie on the bottom, but I took the easy way and used a mix. Plus you are adding 2 more layers so it cuts down on the work for you and I think it tastes just as good. I tried the version with marshmallow creme instead of the miniature marshmallows but I prefer the actual marshmallows. The top is my favorite! The butterscotch/chocolate/peanut butter crunch…

  • The Creative Collection Link Party

Welcome to this week’s Creative Collection Link Party! As you may know, I had my little boy about 2.5 weeks ago. I’m finally starting to get back in the groove of things on the blog! He came on August 17th, 4 weeks early! I wasn’t due until September 10th so technically he should still be cooking! He was too anxious to meet his family, I think. 😉 My little boy, Palmer had to spend a week in the NICU after he was born so we’ve had a roller coaster of a month here at my house! My bigger kiddos also started school this year so it’s been CRAZY to say the least! I can’t believe I have four kids! Wait, I can’t believe I have four BOYS! haha!! Anyway, let’s get partyin’! • Fresh Peach Dessert

Hey, Classy Clutter readers! It’s Adell, from Baked in Arizona.  I am excited to share another great recipe with you today!   This recipe was sent to me from my sister-in-law. Her husband has a total sweet tooth (almost as much as me) and this is by far one of his most favorite desserts! My family went crazy over it too. Just make sure you use fresh (not canned) peaches. My grandpa grew up in Utah where they grow some delicious peaches. After one bite of this dessert he said “Now those are peaches!” haha! I loved it cause he could tell right away that I used fresh peaches and absolutely loved the dish. I don’t know about you but making food (treats!) that my family loves brings me so much joy!   The baked graham cracker crust is followed by a layer of peach jello & fresh peaches all mixed together. Then you top it off with a sweet cream cheese mixture and sprinkle more graham crackers on top! Just writing about it is making my mouth water :).…
