How to Decorate An Entry Table | Fall Decor

This post is sponsored by Walmart. As always, all opinions are our own.

They say you only have one chance to make a good first impression, and that goes for your home as well! We are going to show you exactly how to decorate an entry table – it is easier than you think!

Now that fall is officially here, we are incorporating fall decor into Mallory’s entry table design to create a warm, inviting feeling right when you walk in!

How to Decorate An Entry Table:

1. Start with a focal point

I found this mirror from Walmart Home and I immediately fell in love! A gold mirror is such a great focal point because it adds that glam factor while opening up the space and helping it appear larger. Plus, it is perfect for a lipstick check as you are walking out the door haha!

2. Add anchors on the sides

Add items with height on the ends of the table. This creates balance and structure for the table. In my entry, I used this lamp and these fall decor inspired florals that I picked straight from my backyard. You can use books (option 1, option 2, option 3) to add height to items if needed!

3. Have fun with seasonal decor!

Seasonal decor doesn’t have to be overpowering or expensive! I love to switch out the decor in my entry way each season. For fall, I am loving these gold pumpkins (option 1, option 2)! I have lots of gold accents in my home so adding these pumpkins from Walmart Home help tie everything together.

I wanted my fall decor to feel cozy, but also subtle. This buffalo check blanket added that warm, inviting feeling in an effortless way. The best part is that the blanket can be used in other spaces in my home throughout the year.

TIP: Buy seasonal decor that will work all year round! I was able to do this with the blanket AND the black candlesticks!

4. Incorporate color

Adding color is the perfect way to add subtle fall decor to your home! I have this stunning antique chair that brings fall tones into the space. I wanted to incorporate that color on the entry table as well, so picked up this vanilla candle that is very close in color to the chair. It smells just as amazing as it looks!

Learning how to style an entry table can transform your space and set the tone for anyone who visits. It’s a special place in #MallorysClassicColonial that we have spent the last several months perfecting. I am so excited to finally share it with you! If you are looking for fall decor for your space, Walmart Home has just about everything!
