Now I am excited to share this recipe with you today. This is a favorite at my house. We have it a few times a month. Its quick and easy and very fun to make with the KitchenAid  Spiralizer.

Zoodles and Meat Sauce

3-4 medium to large zucchini

1 24 oz jar of Marinara Sauce

1 lb. Ground Turkey

1 Tbsp of Extra Virigin Olive Oil

1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning

1/2 tsp Oregano

1/4 tsp of Red Pepper Flakes

In a large skillet, add Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bring to medium heat. Add ground turkey and brown the meat.

Meanwhile, use a spiralizer (I used my KitchenAid Spiralizer that attaches to my KitchenAid stand mixer) to create the noodle affect with my zucchini. It’s really simple to attach to the KitchenAid Stand Mixer if you have one I highly recommend it.

Zoodles 3

Attach your spiralizer and place your zucchini on the attachment (as shown).

Zoddles 2

Place a bowl underneath the attachment to catch your zucchini noodles. Set your speed to 4 and let it do the work for you. You can use all of the noodles that it cuts. The skin and everything. It adds some color and texture to your noodles and tastes delicious.

Remove from bowl and spread out the spirals on a paper towel. Sprinkle some salt and let them sit for 20-30 minutes to let the moisture escape. Zucchini hold a lot of water and you don”t want your noodles to be soggy. Yuck!

While waiting for the zoodles, add a jar of your favorite Marinara Sauce to the browned turkey and let simmer over low – medium heat. Add Italian Seasoning, Oregano, Red Pepper Flakes. Simmer for another 15-20 minutes that way the spices can all blend together.

Zoodles 7

Now it’s time to cook the zoodles. I saute my zucchini in a pan until they are hot and soft to eat. I prefer my zoodles with a little bit of crispiness to them still.

After place the zoodles into a strainer to drain out any extra water. Place the zoodles on plate and top them with your sauce.

Now its time to Enjoy!

We all need to get used to living with our emotions. what is eft therapy? This therapy allows you to find a “new” self. I recently had this online therapy with a professional online psychologist. I would like to say that it was the best online therapy. I wasn’t paying attention to such important things. Now I am more attentive to the little things and people are more pleasant to communicate with me, as I am with them. It feels very good and is very important to me. Finally I can safely live in society and enjoy my life. I want to say thank you very much!
