Hey friends, I’m Mariah from Giggles Galore, where I blog about my favorite ways to turn the ordinary into EXTRAORDINARY one creative project at a time. My goal is to inspire families to celebrate life’s little moments with creative, budget friendly recipes, crafts, travel tips, home decor and more! I am passionate about entertaining and absolutely love this time of year and all the opportunities to gather together and celebrate with friends and family. And today I’m sharing a super simple and inexpensive way to add a little sparkle to your holiday celebrations, a Rustic Glam Holiday Sign!

Tis the Season to Sparkle Glitter Sign

Each year during the holidays I host a Favorite Things party and the theme of this year’s party is going to be “Mad for Plaid” with a cozy cabin feel. I was inspired by all the goodies at the Target Dollar Spot, I mean how could you not want one (or a bunch) of everything!

Of course, every good party needs a little bit of glam! Which is why I decided to add a touch of sparkle to our hot cocoa bar cart with this simple and inexpensive sign. Here is what you’ll need to add your own sparkle to your home decor or party:

Tis the Season to Sparkle Sign Supplies

I already had the picture frame for this project and knew that it would be the perfect rustic touch on my hot cocoa bar, but it needed a little something extra. I started by cutting a 5×7 piece of black felt to fit on my picture frame.

Next, I used my Cricut to cut out the “tis the Season to Sparkle” saying in the gold glitter iron-on vinyl.

Once the image was cut I ironed it on to my black felt. Remove the sticky film from the iron-on transfer to revel your design.

I tied a small bow with the plaid ribbon and used a glue dot to attach it to the metal clip.

It’s such a simple detail, and a great way to make things feel extra special. I had all of the supplies for this project, expect for the plaid ribbon so this project ended up only costing me $1, but I’m certain you could recreate it for less than $5.
