Awesome job! One question though, where did you get the letters and were they spray painted as well?

      Hi Brenda!

The letters are from Hobby Lobby and yes, we spray painted them! Looks like I left that step out! Whoops! Thanks for catching that for me! I’ll add it in!

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Hi Jennifer! The desk is from Ikea and the chairs are from Amazon. We painted the bases on both gold! 🙂

HI. I was so happy and motivated to do my Inspire board and I went to home depot in Mexico where I live. They have the PINK PANTER board that is for insulate. I cut it thiere and I came to my house to paint it with gold spray. I had a surprise. All the material start to eat away and make holes. It was so disappointing. I don´t know what else I can use as the one that you post they don´t carry here on Mexico. Any idea… I have sequins and letter waiting to do the board… ;(

    Hi Mallory & Savannah,
I am so happy to have found your website! I bought the supplies to make a sequins (inspire) board and anxious to get started. Can you tell me the width you cut your board to be? I need to exchange my letters at Hobby Lobby for a smaller size. It looks like a good width. Did you buy the letters that are more flat and made of wood or the very light weight ones that are the color of a brown paper bag? The brown ones are thicker and would stick out as raised letters in the middle of the sequins board. Thanks, Kathy

      Hi Kathy!

They’re the chipboard ones that are thicker. Not the cardboard/paper mache ones. They’re flatter. Hope that helps!

hi! so in love with this! I tried making this board today, but the actual board started crumbling once we cut into the center with the blade. Any tips on how to keep this in tact? Thanks so much!

On the inside square we put duct tape to help keep it from not making a mess and keeping it all together.

Hoping to adapt this design for my daughter’s room, but I can’t locate the R-tech Foam Insulating Sheathing . Do you have an alternative suggestion?

Do you have an alternative suggestion to the Foam Insulating Sheathing? My Home Depot doesn’t carry the suggested product. I really appreciate any help! 🙂

Hi, I like the golden color used for wall. The wooden touch is also a great choice. The wall with multi-colors is very amazing. You can use some tapestries to decor your wall. I will look more attractive with colorful walls. Excellent DIY designs for home decor.
