Here I go again. I once again redid my gallery wall. I have to say I am dying over how much I love it right now! I have done a bit of my own artwork which was new for me and I have also made a few new printables that I am loving right now.
To start this DIY Modern gallery wall redo I first painted the wall. The paint color I used was a color that I mixed on my own. I got the color mixed at Home Depot. I think it is a great color. It’s a great tone of grey and just enough of a grey color. I also spray painted quite a few different frames I had already. I also added a gold touch to a few of the frames.
With most of the frames I used Kilz Primer and Rust-Oleum semi-gloss Spray Paint to get a clean white look.
I hand painted the watercolor paintings and I love the pop of color it adds.
I painted the dot artwork with watercolor paint from Michael’s and I painted it on thick painter’s paper and cut it down to size to put in the frame that I had from Pottery Barn. The frames were black and I spray painted them with my favorite gold spray paint.
I framed a bunch of free printables. I created several of them so feel free to download them below.
I framed the Find Joy in the Journey in one of my new favorite frames from Cut it Out Frames. It is called the “Parker” and it came unfinished. I just painted it white and frame the printable. I love how it turned out!

I really love how it turned out! It’s such a bright, fresh change in my office area.
Don’t forget to check out how I painted the Mint Herringbone Desk in front of the gallery wall! It’s one of my favorite pieces in my house!

September 15, 2014 at 3:18 pmI love this!! I downloaded the “Choose Happy” print and “find joy in the journey” print and I’d like to print them 11×14, will this now allow me to print that size? Or is there somewhere I can purchase the print in a bigger size? Thanks so much!!

November 21, 2014 at 11:35 amI printed the find joy in the journey in 8×10 and it came out slightly pixelated. Is there a way to correct this so I could print a larger size like 11×14?
