Our classic colonial home came with a lot of quirks. Some I love, and some just had to change.
Did you know that our pantry used to be a bar haha? This is funny because we don’t drink and have zero use for an in-home bar setup. There was essentially no pantry space and with a large family, we need all of the storage we can get!
Do you see that room to the left? Yeah, that was the family room that is now my kitchen! You can see the full reveal here.
We painted the cabinets, replaced the countertops and the bar prep sink, and closed the opening in the wall to create an entirely new space that functions for our family. We love it SO much!
Ready for the final reveal?
When we converted this bar area into a pantry, I decided to keep the bar prep sink and my goodness, I’m SO glad I did!! Having this stunning prep sink in the pantry is such a game changer!
We keep our toaster and microwave in the pantry so having water to prep food, wash hands, and wipe down surfaces has been super useful! This White Quartz Classic® sink from Elkay is the highlight of the space – it’s absolutely stunning and so easy to clean!
The faucet is from Amazon!
The pantry is off the breakfast nook – I revealed this space a few weeks backs and I am still obsessed with this plate wall!
