Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread for Beginners

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread - www.classyclutter.net

So… I’ve never made bread before (gasp!) I know. I have been wanting to try for a while now but I just haven’t. Partly because I didn’t even have any bread pans. I got some last week and couldn’t wait to try them out.

I came across a recipe that was yummy looking but I didn’t have some ingredients so I kind of made up my own recipe and holy smokes, it is delicious! It’s totally fool proof and easy so anyone can make it!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread for Beginners:

1 15 oz can of Pumpkin Puree
4 eggs
1 cup Vegetable Oil
2/3 cup water
2 1/2 cups of white sugar
3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1-2 cups of chocolate chips (depending on how many you like in your bread)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With electric mixer, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, water and white sugar.  In another mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.  Gradually add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture until mixed thoroughly. Stir in chocolate chips. Grease and flour 2 7×3″ bread pans. Pour into bread pans and bake for 50-60 minutes. Bread is done when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool on wire cooling rack and ENJOY!
