Bedroom Sitting Area Makeover
Hey friends! So I realized I totally forgot to share this little corner of my room and I think it’s pretty cute so today’s the day!
This is my little “master” bedroom. It’s actually one of the smaller bedrooms because 3 of our 4 boys share the biggest bedroom in our house.
I changed out the mirror for this round wooden one from Target and played with the accessories on the dresser a bit. I love how the wood ties in with the wood scalloped wall.
The little cactus is my current favorite accessory! It reminds me of home. Arizona – which I’m moving back to in 4 weeks! and the cactus flower is just too much. The cactus and little pot are from Home Depot.
I also changed out the plant in the DIY Macramé planter for a fluffy fern. I call it my Love Fern. Let’s hope I don’t kill it.
I made this super fun DIY Yarn Wall Hanging and will be sharing the tutorial soon. I’ll update with the link when its available. The side table, rug and little plant are from HomeGoods. You know I love HomeGoods. The friggin cute little blue lion-ish guy is from Target. The chair is a thrift store find that I upholstered using an Ikea fur rug and the turquoise pillow is from Pier One.
I love this little space and hope you do too! I’m going to be really sad to pack it all up in the next 2 weeks!

March 31, 2015 at 4:26 pmI absolutely love the colors you chose for your yarn hanging! I saw a similar one on I Spy DIY (maybe… I could be wrong) but it was so bright I though the man in the house wouldn’t be a fan. This makes me totally reconsider! Love it!
