Back to School Notebooks!

Well, I’m “back to school” again this semester and since I don’t have kids old enough for school yet, I decided I could do a little “Back to School” project for myself!
I decided to recover a couple notebooks that I will use for my Chemistry (yuck!) class and for my Interior Design class (LOVE!).  Here it is!
Started with my BORING notebook…. perfectly fitting for BORING Chemistry….
Then I made some artwork on Photoshop. I used some art from House of 3 and changed it up a bit! Have you visited House of 3? My gosh it’s amazing!
The 8×11 Adhesive Paper I had was going to be a bit short so I ModPodged some old sheets of paper on the edge so you wouldn’t see the blue cover…
Then I “inked” the edges with some distressing ink and placed my adhesive paper right on the front of the book. I did the same process of the small book on the right. They were cute but needed something more….
Enter Ribbon, Rosettes, and Buttons!
I love that little bike! What do you think? Better than boring blue?
I added some text to personalize the images by adding the name of my class, my name and some numbers symbolizing me and hubby’s anniversary and my babies’ initials to make it a bit more personal! I love how it turned out!
Do you like it? I think this will make Chemistry notes a little more interesting! Chem needs all the help it can get!
