Easy Crafts: No-Sew DIY Felt Scalloped Pillow
Well hello! Hope you all had a fan-friggin-tastic Labor Day! We had some family come into town and spent the weekend watching movies, swimming, playing on the trampoline, played at Top Golf and ate lots of yummy food! It is so fun to finally live close enough for family to visit often. My in-laws all fly for free so they come down from Utah a lot to visit and I love having them in our new home. Did you catch our living room makeover? Today I’m going to teach you how to make the felt scallop pillow I made to bring all of my favorite colors into the space. I originally saw one like it on Emily Henderson’s blog and I was in love with it. Problem was, she didn’t remember where she got it and I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE!
Materials:
Felt Circles – I ordered 4 sets of 27. In 12 different colors. This shop is awesome for precut felt! It’s super high quality wool felt (the good stuff!)
Scissors – these gold Nate Berkus ones are my fave!
I used these precut circles and laid them across the top of the pillow case to figure out spacing.
Then, I cut each circle in half, just cut enough for the top row for now.
Trim the last one if it hangs over the edge. (See how the copper one is in the photo below?)
Now start on your next row. For the bulk of the pillow, you won’t need to cut anything; just overlap them to make the scallop shape.
Using hot glue around the perimeter of the felt, continue to layer them and work your way down.
Repeat, repeat, repeat until your whole pillow cover is covered. You’ll only need to trim the top row, ends of each row and the bottom row.
That’s it!
Isn’t it so fun? You can easily customize this to fit any decor style by switching up the color palette.

I have been swooning over this pillow since you posted it with your living room reveal! Love this!
I was trying to find a craft for all the felt in my stash! This is perfect! Thank you!
