Glitter Dipped Bulb Ornaments
Hi friends! Hope you’re having a fantastic holiday season so far! Today we have a super easy and super cute craft idea for you. It’s really simple and you can make several of these in under an hour. This was one of the projects we created for Joann’s Winter Lookbook we told you about last week. Don’t you love Savannah’s Ice Skate Wreath? You can find that tutorial here.
This was part of the Winter Woodlands Collection. I love how simple they are yet bring such an elegance to a basic bulb ornament.
The tutorial was originally shared on Joann.com but we’d love to share it here in case you missed it!
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Bulb Ornament(s)
- Painter’s Tape
- Martha Stewart Crafts 4 oz. Glittering Glue – This stuff is a MUST HAVE for glittering projects. It makes it so easy!
- Glitter
- Jute Twine
- Frost spray paint (optional)
If you’d like a frosted bulb, use Krylon Gloss Frosting Spray to spray clear ornaments. You get the glass look without it being fragile. Plastic frosted bulbs are the way to go!
When your bulb is dry, use painter’s tape to tape off the bottom half of the bulb ornament.
Apply Glittering Glue to bottom half of the bulb ornament.
Generously apply glitter to glitter glue. Tap off excess glitter and allow glue to dry
Tie a loop of jute twine to the top of the bulb ornament.
It’s pretty cool to see our faces, our names and Classy Clutter on Joann.com. I still can’t get over it. This has been a big year for us and we are so thankful for the blessings we’ve received this year that has allowed our blog and business to grow. Thank YOU for helping us grow. We sure love our readers!
So pretty!
