Thanksgiving Free Printables

Happy Fall everyone! It’s Courtney again, from Paperelli. Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday! I love making Thanksgiving dinner so much you wouldn’t believe what I do. I totally make it twice a year. I know, I know it sounds crazy, but I love it! A few years ago my husband and I decided to start our new tradition of having “Thanksgiving in July”!

In July we try new recipes and November we stick to tried-and-true favorites. Because this is my favorite holiday, I am celebrating with some awesome printables I know you and your family will love. This first, a Happy Thanksgiving Printable will look great next to your fall décor, on your mantle, or even on your desk at work. All you need to do is download, print, & slip into your favorite frame. We have a cream background printable and a white background printable for you to choose from.

Ever since reading this blog post, I have been thinking a lot about Mallory and Savannah’s idea to celebrate gratitude this season. This last printable is a perfect way to help us do just that. All you need to do is print, use the crop marks to trim, and frame this adorable printable or HERE this larger 8×10” version. Then grab a dry erase marker and every day write something you are grateful for on the glass of the frame. I like to write mine in the morning when I wake up, that way every time I walk by I am reminded of the many things I have to be grateful for.

Whenever Fall begins, I always reflect on the many, many blessings in my life.  Fall is always like a new beginning. When the leaves change and the warm Summer air turns crisp and cool, it brings a sense of true happiness into my home. My kids get ridiculously excited for the holidays coming up and they marvel at the bright orange, yellow and red leaves as we drive around town.

This Sunday, we were so grateful to be able to watch our church’s General Conference from home with our family as we listened to the cold rain outside. As I snuggled up with my husband on the couch and watched my little boys color as we watched General Conference on tv, I couldn’t help but be filled with gratitude and happiness. You can watch it online here if you missed any of the sessions.

I hope you’ll print and enjoy these darling printables (Designed by Paperelli) to celebrate Gratitude this season! Be sure to check out more amazing prints and printables on the Paperelli Shop.

Give Thanks Banner (Revisited)

Thanksgiving is next week! What the what!?! Crazy right?? Then, we can all decorate for CHRISTMAS!!!
I made this fun little “Give Thanks” banner. I didn’t take too many photos because it is pretty self explanatory and you will want to create it completely to your own taste!
I simply printed off the letters on some cream card stock and cut pennants out of various coordinating scrapbook pages. I punched two holes in the top of the pennants to string the jute through. I hot glued the  pinwheels on and added some rhinestones for some bling! Everything looks better with rhinestones.
TIP:

Super cute, easy and cheap! All characteristics of my favorite kind of projects!
Are you ready for Thanksgiving next week???
Have a happy week my friends,

Thanksgiving "Give Thanks" sign

Well Fall is in full swing! It’s nice and cool/cold in most areas and the leaves have changed and fallen! I already completed my Fall Mantel but I wanted to make just one more thing to remind us to “Give Thanks” since that is really what Thanksgiving is all about. This is a super easy and quick craft and I think it adds the perfect touch to any mantel, shelf or it would even be perfect on your Thanksgiving dinner table!
Here’s how it’s done:

1.  I had a piece of 1″x6″x5′ board I purchased from Home Depot a while ago. I measured 26″ long and marked the wood.

2. Next, I took my jigsaw and cut the board on my marking. If you don’t have a jigsaw, Lowe’s and Home Depot will cut wood for you if purchase it in their store. I got my jigsaw at Walmart for around $20 and I love that I have it on hand for quick cuts like this.

3. Then, I painted the board with Folkart Gold Metallic paint with a sponge brush.
4. I used my Silhouette to cut out the “Give Thanks” vinyl decal. If you do not have a vinyl machine, you can purchase the “Give Thanks” vinyl from my shop, here.
5. Finally, apply your vinyl once your paint has dried! DONE! Told ya, easy huh!?

I had it in my living room but I already moved in into my dining room. “Give Thanks” for Thanksgiving just felt more fitting for the kitchen and dining area… and I needed to clear my shelves for my Christmas decor! YAY!!

Giving Thanks FREE Printable

I’m definitely getting into the Thanksgiving mood! The only issue I’m having is that the warm fall colors don’t really “go” with my house so I’m finding (and making!) some decor that coordinates! I thought I’d share this with you all! Here’s a few color options! I am printing the grey and yellow for my living room!
