Project Inspiration with Floor & Decor

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Floor & Decor. The opinions and text are all mine.

We are so thrilled to be working on some HUGE projects in our homes right now. I, Mallory, am working on my master bathroom remodel and Savannah is beginning her Laundry Room makeover very soon! We are super excited to have partnered with Floor & Decor for these projects and today we’re going to show you our plans for both projects!

If you’re not familiar with Floor & DecorFloor & Decor is a leading specialty retailer in the hard surface flooring market, offering the broadest in-stock selection of tile, wood, stone, related tools and flooring accessories – at everyday low prices. They have an incredible inventory of in-stock products that you can usually pick up the same day! Great for us!

Let’s start with Mallory’s Master Bathroom Remodel. This project is HUGE! You may have read about it here.

If you’ve followed our Instagram stories, I’m sure you’ve seen us sharing sneak peeks of the tile and the process of the renovation so far. I am going for a classic/traditional look with a big punch of modern flair. I picked a classic Carrara Marble (or look alikes!) for most of the tile. Most of the finishing work will be white or marble with accessories giving a punch of color. I was so beyond inspired by visiting Floor & Decor store and browsing their stone department. The white marble aisle had my heart!

One | Two | Three | Four

Tile number one is going above my bathroom vanity on the wall. Two is the shower floor. Three is the bathroom floor and the bottom 2/3 of the shower walls. Number four is going on the top 1/3 of the shower walls. We started tiling the wall above the vanity (that should arrive today!) This bathroom is going to be so stunning! We are SO excited!

Savannah will be tearing into her laundry room very soon. It is going to be an incredible makeover! Take it away, Savannah!

For my laundry room, I am wanting to do something fun but something that also goes along with my kitchen decor since the laundry room is right off the kitchen. I went back and forth with a few different flooring choices and backsplash tiles and I am really excited about the ones that we finally decided on.

I wanted the flooring to have a pattern but not too busy and I loved these black and white hexagon tiles that I am going to lay out in a stripe pattern. For the cabinets I wanted to paint them a fun color but not to loud. I wanted the tile to be the big moment in the laundry room and I was inspired by this light mint color and I think they will really complement the tile.

When Mallory and I went and toured Floor & Decor I fell madly in love with the Carrara Thassos Hexagon Marble Mosaic Tile with a touch of marble and I knew it would be a perfect fit in the laundry room.

I love that all of these tiles have very similar vibes but they are different.

Here is a little video of us making our selections at Floor & Decor. We had a blast searching for our favorite materials at Floor & Decor
