Homemade Peppermint Ice Cream

With the holidays right around the corner this is the perfect thing to bring to a party. My aunt Debbie would always bring homemade peppermint ice cream to family parties and it was always my favorite thing. Recently, I got my very own Ice cream machine and I knew that my very first ice cream favor would be peppermint.  It’s easy and it also makes quite a bit of ice cream. Better yet you can use this recipe for all different favors. If you want a fruit favor, substitute the peppermint for fruit of your choice, or if you want vanilla just increase the vanilla to 3 tsp.

  1. I love peppermint ice cream too and want to make some, but what size packages of peppermint did you use? It said to unwrap one package. I’ve only seen it in different size packages of the individually wrapped ones or sticks. Thanks!
