Chevron Wall Redo

IMG_0442

I painted my chevron wall about a year ago and I loved it. But I was ready for a change. I have changed this wall three times in the last month.

It started like this…

 Then I painted it a mint color…

Then I was going to do the stripe with gold glitter…. I used the Silhouette Double Sided Adhesive Paper

and I used cheap gold glitter from Walmart and I did not do much when I realized,

#1 it would take forever to do #2 the gold glitter was a little too much

If the zig zag would have been smaller then I would have done it. It worked perfectly.

But this is how it ended up…

I am VERY VERY happy with the navy stripe!!! I love it, and I love all the little items add to the dresser, including my lamps that I taped off and painted the bases with gold spray paint.

What do you think?! Which one is your favorite…. I really would love to know

  1. LOVE the navy, this is so clever. I’ve been needing something to like this to jazz up my formal living/dining area, and this is perfect, I’m totally going to do it!! What color navy did you use??

  2. I love all of them!! The navy looks so classy though and timeless. You can always change it up by adding pops of color in the accessories like a bright red pillow. The gold is gorgeous too. I don’t mind a little shock when it comes to design…just ask my husband haha

  3. I love that you showed the trial and error process. It was a little reminder that it’s ok to change your mind and try something else. Sometimes I need that reminder, and it spills over to different aspects of life. Your chevron wall looks fantastic and gave me some great ideas for my own home. Thanks 🙂

  4. What color would you paint the other walls in the room? I love the chevron, with mint. I want to do it for our little one’s nursery.
