Unfortunately, I gave up scrapbooking right about when I started having kids. Well, I think I even scrapbooked my pregnancy then… nada. When I moved to NY, I got rid of all of my scrapbooking supplies. With all of my eleventy billion hobbies, scrapbooking fell by the wayside. I LOVE the idea of it but I don’t have time, patience or the storage for all for all of the supplies, printing off photos never happens unless they’re going in a frame on the wall. So…. when we were contacted by My Memories to review their digital scrapbooking software I was super duper excited! No photos to print, no cluttery “scrapbook stuff”, no hours and hours of designing, cutting, pasting. Not to mention trying to find an actual scrapbook to put it all in… exhausting! I have close friends that are amazing scrapbookers and I envy them. I love what they do, I just can’t do it. 🙁 ….until now! buahahaha!
I downloaded the software right from their website (no annoying discs to deal with!) and I was ready to go. The download took about 10 minutes or so.I played around with the software a bit and decided to create a little Valentine of my boys to send to family and friends today!
Cute right?? I can totally handle this! Everything I used to make this page was FREE! Once I figured out the software, it was so fun and I can see myself getting addicted already 😉 Another thing I liked is that you can do more than just make your typical scrapbook page. You can add video, make printables, blog photo layouts and more! This is really exciting for me because I use Picnik and it’s closing down 🙁 This is even better than picnik and it’s easy! Oh! Another plus, I use photoshop for my photography business and it’s compatible with Photoshop! Seriously awesomeness!!!
