Totally Inspired Tuesday by Mallory & a birthday!
There once was a family that moved across the country with no furniture and had to start furnishing their house completely from scratch! Yeah… that’s my family! 🙂 It’s quite an adventure but there’s A LOT to do when you start over with an empty house!
This week I have been TOTALLY and COMPLETELY inspired by Heidi from Honeybear Lane! She had a red sofa and wanted a white “black canvas” for decorating! You and me both Heidi! She made a gorgeous slipcover to cover her red sofa! I recently scored a super duper clean and comfy couch for $35! BUT…. I don’t like the fabric! I figured at that price I could afford to tackle a slipcover!
Isn’t it beautiful!!?? Looks perfectly Pottery Barn to me!
As my mom used to say…”Throw it on the pile!” I now know exactly what she meant by that when I was growing up!
This has been added to my list of “to do” stuff for the house! Thank you Heidi for the inspiration!

And…. It’s my birthday! I’m 25 today! Kind of wishing I could share this with more family and friends but at least I have my amazing hubby and sweet little boys to enjoy this day with!

Is the red pillow back attached to your couch? We have a tan couch that we cannot keep clean and I can’t figure out how to make a slip cover for it because the pillows aren’t detachable!!
