Inviting Office Redo

after office 013
This is what this space looked like before. The old tenants had a great idea about using this space as a office.
Welcome to our new office!

When you first walk into my house this office is the first thing that you see….
The window valance was a thrift store find that I recovered.  I wish I would have taken before pictures it was NOT cute.  It was very very easy to recover.
You have to staple one side then the opposite side making sure you pull tight before each staple. Then, I added the cute ball trim at the bottom. I have another valance to recover for my little girls room, and I am going to do a tutorial for it.
These candlestick that I got for my wedding were a pain light wood… I loved the detail of the candlesticks I used Rub n’ Buff in Patina and I love this stuff…
(Remember the Sassy Dresser post. I used the rub n buff in gold for those dressers) Night and day difference!!! LOVE!

I got these cute and old books at an Estate Sale and I think they add cute detail!
Here is one more “after” for ya!

What do you think of the office?
